Community Engagement

Food Security

From 2023 through 2025, Lantz & Robins won the Legal Food Frenzy regional award for Feed More. The Legal Food Frenzy is an annual competition organized by the Virginia Attorney General’s Office, the Young Lawyers Division of the Virginia Bar Association, and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks. Through our participation, we contributed more than 17,000 meals to FeedMore.

Amputee Athletics

Lantz & Robins provides financial support to Sportable, a Richmond-based organization that creates opportunities and transforms the lives of individuals with physical disabilities, visual impairments, and those requiring physical accommodations through sport, recreation, health, and wellness.

Youth and Education

Rand Robins serves as board secretary for UP RVA, a nonprofit organization that supports high school students from low-income neighborhoods who are attending independent high schools. UP RVA provides daily transportation, after-school programming, tutoring, and assistance with the costs of attending independent schools. Rand is dedicated to mentoring middle and high school students from challenging backgrounds.

Community Events

Lantz & Robins has been a lead sponsor of Easter on Parade, Richmond’s longstanding community event held on Monument Avenue. First held in 1973, Easter on Parade brings together families from across the region each spring.

Michael Lantz serves as president of Historic Monument Avenue, the neighborhood association for Richmond’s Monument Avenue Old and Historic District. The organization works to protect and restore the historic character of the avenue.
